Part I – Bankruptcy Basics – This Course is for the beginning attorney who has done 5 or less bankruptcies and is excellent for sending your staff and paralegals to learn or re-learn the Basics of Bankruptcy and Chapter 7.
Topics include: How to properly complete and amend Schedules and other required filings; How to convert to other Chapters; The basics of how to complete the means test form; How to get the Meeting of Creditors closed in one visit; Basic client interviewing; Bankruptcy Exemptions.
Part II –Intermediate Level – This Course is a perfect follow up to Part I.
Topics include: How to get the difficult or high earning debtor under the means test cap for Chapter 7; Discharge and Dischargeability Actions and how to defend them; reaffirmation of Debts and the alternatives thereto; and advanced Exemptions and analysis.
Part III –Advanced Bankruptcy – Covers Advanced Topics.
Topics include: The new exemptions – advanced analysis; Exemption Planning; Recent Decisions; Chapter 13 and lien stripping; S0.tripping Second mortgages and Chapter 20.
