Description:

This course will cover the basics of preparing an annual accounting for Article 81 guardianship cases. Areas covered include but are not limited to; record keeping to avoid math jitters, how to handle the individual schedules, pitfalls and tips on documenting transactions, the examination process (what to expect) and a separate presentation by an experienced accountant devoted to de-mystifying brokerage statements and how to report brokerage statement related items on the annual accounting.
