The Administrative Board of the statewide court system recently adopted new rules that will harmonize various disciplinary procedures around the state. These rules promise a more uniform approach to disciplining New York attorneys.
Thus, charges of attorney misconduct will be investigated in a similar manner across the state and sanctions for similar kinds of wrongdoing will be consistent. The program will discuss what changes were made and what procedures will remain in place.
